“Self-taught” is a weird term, but it might as well apply to Aaron.

Like a lot of other gen x latchkey kids, Aaron spent his wonder-years moving around a lot. This gave him a lot of time to draw and observe the world. Child- Aaron’s “hometown” was the backseat of the car with a sketch book. Once he discovered comic books, he was well and truly hooked.

During his teens, Aaron lived in Ithaca, NY (which is as gorgeous as advertised). During his “shoulda been in college” years, Aaron resumed the nomadic lifestyle he grew up with. He still loves traveling and meeting new people.

In 2010 he was offered his first full-time comic book job and hasn’t come back to the real

world since. Currently he draws funny books half buried in a hill in the Ozark mountains of Northwest Arkansas with his wife Aprille and a number of four-legged roommates.

Aaron has worked for Marvel, DC, Lucas Films, Boom Studios, Image Comics, etc.
